The Skinny on Kenny

Where do I even begin on Kenny Chesney... he grew up in a small town called Luttrell in Tennessee. Kenny was born on March 26, 1968. A fun fact that you may not know is that Kenny isn't all muscle with no brain - he graduated college with a degree in Advertising. He also likes to hide the fact that his middle name is Arnold. Actually. in my opinion, Arnold fits him better than Kenny.
Now, do not get me wrong, I am a HUGE Kenny fan... but REALLY? I believe Kenny Chesney is proof that if you can sing and play a guitar it makes you sexy. If I were to see Kenny Chesney walking down the street, he wouldn't exactly turn my head. But give the man a guitar, a microphone and some screaming fans and he is suddenly a lot more appealing. Kenny was deemed "Country's Hottest Bachelor" by Country Weekly. He has sold more concert tickets than any other band or act in the last 3 years! And I must say that his attitude makes him a lot sexier than the reflection that he sees in the mirror. He really tries to have fun in his life and even scandals don't take Kenny off his game. Who can forget his four month marriage to actress Renee Zellweger? When the annulment papers came in Zellweger had cited fraud as the reason, which lead to a huge 'Kenny must be gay' scandal. Well folks, he's not. They listed fraud because it was the easiest reason with the broadest meanings. Kenny has said that the only fraud was him not really knowing who he was and what marriage was all about. It is something that he wants to try again one day, and he even sees kids in his future... but right now it is all about the music.
Kenny's songs hit home with so many people. You can listen to one of his songs and put yourself into it. He writes and sings about the common man and woman. He brings small town America to everyone. Some of his songs are reflections of events in his life, others he admits to writing what girls want to hear, which is just another reason why he has such a large female following.
Kenny has a love for the Caribbean and now calls the Virgin Islands his home away from home. He is a simple man really. His favorite place to eat is a burger joint in the Virgin Islands, but he doesn't sit with the common folk. No, it isn't because he thinks he is above them. He sits in the alley of the restaurant with the propane tanks and the brooms. The "executive suite" he calls it. That's why fans love him. Girls may say "Kenny is so sexy" but it isn't his looks, it's the attitude, the singing, the lifestyle that he lives.
He is the Jimmy Buffet of country music. You don't believe that? Go to one of his concerts. He has brought the Caribbean to you. One semi on Kenny's tour is dedicated just to Caribbean gear - including tiki bars. He allows you, for two hours, to forget about the problems in your life and just relax, have a beer, and have some fun. The shows he puts on are always energetic and you are guaranteed a good time. You may be front row, you may be in the lawn, but wherever you are Kenny makes you feel like you are his only fan. Going to a Kenny concert is an all day affair. Tailgating is a must, and the sites you see will blow your mind. Last year I saw hot tubs and swimming pools everywhere. No shoes, no shirt... no problem... that is what a Kenny concert is all about.
Although I don't believe he is one of the sexiest men alive, I do believe that he is a guy that everyone would like. His smile is infectious, his singing is amazing, and his concerts are a pure get away from life. August 29th I will be heading to another Kenny concert. I believe I am just going to buy the lawn seats, unless I am lucky enough to win some more tickets. But I'll give you a full rundown of the show. My recommendations is that if Kenny is coming your way on tour, head out to see him - it is a must see show!
